Apartment Capitalization Rate

“Pursuant to Section 11.1825 (r), of the Texas Property Tax Code, the San Patricio County Appraisal District gives public notice of the Capitalization Rates for low/moderate income housing for the 2024 tax year:

Class A-7%-9% 

Class B-7%-9.75%

Class C-9.75%-11.00%

**A varying range allows more flexibility to account for the variances in age, class, location, etc. All rates will be finalized based on available data and district discretion.
